The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
